Civic Club Accomplishments

The Camp Logan Neighborhood Sign

We actively worked with the Washington Avenue Parking Benefit District to repair the Camp Logan sign at the Washington on Westcott ("WOW") roundabout, after it was smashed during a car crash in March, 2023. Additional and much appreciated assistance was provided by Camp Logan resident, Bill Records.

Neighborhood Trees + Parks

We manage tree maintenance in the Camp Logan pocket parks via contracts with Houston-area tree companies, when maintenance is not performed by the City of Houston Parks & Recreation Department.

WOW Roundabout

We coordinated with the Washington Avenue Parking Benefit District on multiple improvements / repairs at the WOW roundabout: repair and update the lighting sculptures; provide regular monthly landscaping / maintenance of the green spaces; and update the gravel pathways.

Spay/Neuter Program

We have conducted a spay / neuter / release program on local feral cat populations on an as needed basis over the years with the help of neighborhood volunteers.
